If so, I’d certainly try removing it and using the onboard eSATA port on the rear of the system to see if this resolves your problem.

Well, I’ve just reinstalled Win7 in the ’roundabout way’ installing Vista first then upgrading. I was pulling hair out until I came across this KB article: Wasn’t it 88ee63xx point that Win7 could use Vista drivers???
