As you can see from the bottom area of the attached file, the dropdown associated with the Interface field of the Audio Engine Optins Dialog does indeed contain a reference now for ASIO4All. For reasons that go beyond the scope of this thread, installing Sibelius Sounds is not an option right now. Let me see if I have the overview right. Ieyrig all working – except for latency.
I don’t have a clear handle on all the pieces. If anybody has ideas I sure would appreciate your help. I downloaded ASIO for all and executed the. I have included with this message another screen-shot. No rudeness or offense is intended.
What do I need to do to get Sibelius kwyrig now use these drivers? I’m not sure even what this is supposed to be, but, do you know if something like this an option? You need a latency figure in the 10ms range to make real-time playing feel fully responsive.
Did you know that your browser is out of date?
Up to now I have been aio notes into the computer Sibelius with the keypad. This might be a little hard to see or understand. Most of what I do, in fact, almost all of what I do is just keyboard and a voice. I just plugged it in and started Sibelius and set things up in the Input Devices screen as shown in the attached file.
This was my first attempt at doing something anything that would fix the problem and I included it in my first message unintentionally. Again, I really appreciate your timely and helpful response.

I’ll probably save myself headache if I content myself with what I have till I get the bigger, better equipment. There you can adjust the buffer settings. What am I missing?
It is working, but with latency problems. I hope it will help you.
Forget about using the Windows-integral Microsoft Synth – presumably what the basic MIDI setup is offering you – if you wan’t to play with Flexitime input. That’s basically all I’m doing.
The drivers that I was looking for are, I suppose, for a deeper use of the device’s capabilities controller programming, funciont’s assignment, etc. I get the desired sound, so keyboard, soundcard, ‘puter, Reaper, Amp, speakers, headphones, etc.
M-audlo that it did get installed correctly, I open Sibelius and do what? You lose the facility to do an internal export to a wav file, but there will be essentially no playback delay.
